Help & how to use

Everything you need to get started with EclipseCopilot.

EclipseCopilot keeps your home’s paperwork, bills, and belongings in one place — and reminds you before things are due. Here’s how each part works.

Want the full walkthrough? SeeHow to use EclipseCopilot — a detailed guide to tracking bills, assets, vehicles, utilities, warranties, insurance, and more.

1. Set up a home

When you first sign in, create ahome (a household). Everything you add — bills, documents, assets — belongs to that home. You can have more than one home under a single account (for example, a primary residence and a rental).

2. Capture a bill or document

Tap Capture, then snap a photo or choose an image or PDF. On phones, EclipseCopilot reads the text on your device — fast, offline, and private — and pre-fills the vendor, amount, and due date for you to confirm. On the web, the document is read on our server. Either way, you review and confirm before anything is saved.

3. Track assets & warranties

Add appliances, electronics, and vehicles underAssets. Record the model, serial number, purchase date, and value, and attach receipts or manuals. Warranties you add are tracked so you’re warned before coverage ends — and if a safety recall is published for something you own, EclipseCopilot lets you know.

4. Stay ahead with reminders

Bills and maintenance you log appear on theCalendar and generate reminders. Enable notifications so you get a nudge before a due date — you decide how far ahead.

5. Share with your household

Invite family or housemates fromUsers. Each member has a role — Admin, Editable, or Read-only — so you control who can change what. Invitees confirm before joining, and anyone can leave at any time. Owners manage the account; other members see the same pages in read-only form.

6. Your account & security

UnderSettings → Account you can manage owners, turn on multi-factor authentication for everyone in the account, and review your account’s consents and region. Under Security you manage how you sign in and your own second factor.

7. Manage or delete your data

You’re always in control of your data. FromSettings → Account you can delete a single home (recoverable for 5 days) or your entire account (recoverable for 30 days, then permanently erased). See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we keep and for how long.

To get a copy of everything, choose Download my data. It builds a ZIP with your details as CSV files you can open in any spreadsheet, the documents you uploaded, and a note explaining why each item is kept and for how long. You will be asked to sign in again first, and you can download once a week.

8. Keep an eye on activity

Every change in your home is logged to a timeline underSettings → Activity. Search it or filter by date range — this month, this quarter, year to date, and more — with results paged. History is kept for two years.
